My comment to Autobiography of Yogi

Hi there,

Siddhis may be an indispensable part of someone’s Sadhana. I’ve had some ‘beyond ordinary’ experiences with Samyama and feel it is my duty and my Spiritual path to explore them deeper, to get better mastery and understanding of them. In the process of doing that I improve myself and often find new things from the spiritual areas not directly related to the experiences I explore.

When addressing and trying to discuss my experiences with other ‘spirituality related’ persons I usually find a common cliché reply that ‘Siddhis are not good for harmonious spiritual evolution, they are more an obstacle and mislead you from the true path of Unity’. As per my observation, these replies usually come from persons who have not the vaguest idea of the actual experiences I relate to… Are they not replying this way to simply justify their lack of clear deeper experiences?

Yes, I do understand that Siddhis are not the ultimate Spiritual goal themselves. But what if they come as a part of your path? There’s a lot of knowledge and exploration related even to those limited phenomena I was able to find and get some mastery of. If you are in a society where the overwhelming majority are illiterate in the areas you explore and experience, does it mean the things you do experience are ‘useless’ and ‘misleading’? I’m getting some very strong doubts about them being so.

Samyama with celestial bodies

Dear members of Jyotish Remedies Group.

Since over 10 years I’ve been dedicatedly experimenting with Samyama based on my Jyotish chart, making the related research the primary area of attention of my existence.

I believe to have achieved some interesting (actually groundbreaking, in my humble opinion) results, which, as far as my knowledge goes, have not been described and accounted for in the currently widespread Jyotish literature (both contemporary and classical).

The above might sound boastful and go against the rule No.1 of Group policies, so, please kindly allow me to emphasize here that it is my private opinion, which may be wrong, mistaken and flawed.

Also, as I believe to have developed some new and closer to direct energy perception (IMHO) approaches to interpretation of Jyotish charts, I actually am trying to put together a new system, which would take the best of all the systems I’ve studied and which would improve and correct the mistakes, which I believe they contain, while adding the new information and techniques. I do not claim my system to be perfect and actually I am in a process of constantly improving, further developing and correcting it, my intention being to make it reflect the divine truth and wisdom revealed to us by God more and more fully.

I’d like to finish my first message here, to see if what I have to offer is welcome in this group, to check whether it is of any interest to anyone, and possibly to get some first feedback.

Below are just a few more points I find important for exposing my position:

* my system has its deepest roots in the Vedic Astrology, and I am deeply thankful to all the Gurus and Teachers who brought forth the Jyotish scriptures – it is based on them that I was able correlate my energy perception experiences with some structured systematic language to describe the phenomena I experience;

* in order to maintain the purity and primarily research-oriented character of my work I do not give paid Jyotish consultations; it is exploration and sharing/discussing of knowledge in first place; I do not believe my approach to be helpful and absolutely correct in all the cases; I also do not believe to have the knowledge and capacity to help anyone and everyone based on my current knowledge; however, I do believe to posses some (actually a lot of it) knowledge and experience, which deserves discussion and exposure; I welcome any replies to my messages, including both the critical replies/arguments from experienced Jyotishis and questions from the inexperienced members asking for help or chart interpretation; however, I will only reply the messages I feel able and ready to reply and will not necessarily reply all the issues/questions raised in them. Sorry for that. I’ll do my best, but I’m only an imperfect limited human.

Below in my signature I’ll give the address of my newly established blog-site, in which I will provide a copy of all my messages to this forum. In case some of the topics of this or future messages go beyond the scope of this friendly group, I welcome their discussion in my private blog (this is my first blog, and I’m only learning to maintain it, so please forgive me if something is not done in a technically correct way).

Best regards,

Naz (http://dharana-dhyana-samadhi.blogspot.com/)
